Need Help Organizing Your Social Media? Then you need to Nomee!
People from all over want simple, yet effective ways to let friends, co-workers, fans, etc. know what they have been up to. Also, people want a way to find out what the same groups are up to in their lives as well. I like using TweetDeck to keep up with friends, and collegues, and with the recent addition of Facebook to their interface, it makes it even easier to keep up with people. I am still on the look out for even easier ways to keep up with the latest happenings of the world around me, and I do believe I have found it in an Adobe App called Nomee.
Nomee is an Adobe Air application which allows you to view a person’s social stream all in one central user interface that looks very similar to TweetDeck. Web surfers and social media enthusiasts alike can interact with their social media by creating a “card”. Once the card has been created you can add everything from Digg to Friendfeed to Twitter. In fact, presently you can add over 120 sites to your card (although you may not want to since you still are going to want to be able to READ the card). The icons on your card will also show viewers how many things you have updated on your card, that way if nothing has been updated, they won’t waste time scrolling through media they have already seen. On the other side of that coin, it gives friends, and fans alike a quick way to know if you have added something new to your card.
What’s even better is the fact that they can actually view the picture, or video from the Nomee application as oppose to having to be connected to another website thus cutting down on bandwidth and making the Nomee app a one stop shop for keeping your social media well organized, and easy to go through. Definitely something worth checking out.
