Smart Phones Meet Social Media
One thing that I must admit I am guilty of is that I LOVE checking my facebook page, and sometimes wish that the event that I am attending would hurry up and finish so that I can go and get on the internet. Of course, most of the events that I attend are in regards to computers, or the internet, so sometimes I can have my laptop with me and be able to surf while taking notes. It would still be nice if I had a smaller device to surf the web on though.
The Pre and the INQ Mobile INQ1 are some of the coolest smart phones and are great when you want to surf the net, and check on phone messages, all in the same device. The Pre automatically combines your contact lists and calendars from your different online accounts – Facebook included.

Movie Projectors Come To The Cell Phone Industry
Smart phones have come a long way in providing a screen that can really show off some of the most amazing graphics around. Some even remind you of a small flat screen television. The most understandable next step would be is to add a projector.
The Samsung Show’s 3.2-inch OLED screen has some of the most amazing colors that have to be seen to be believed. What really makes the phone amazing is the fact that it can project 100-inch images. Doesn’t get much better than that!
Most other phones can attach a projector to the phone, but Samsung does an incredible job with putting a projector in the phone itself, making it an all-in-one wonder.

The Shock Doctor Takes the Funk Out Of Your Clothes
Usually, the main concern whenever you dry something is whether or not it gets completely dry. With the problem of staph infections to continue to exist in schools, and amongst sports teams everywhere, a gadget that helps to alleviate this sitatution is definitely a welcome sight. Introducing the Shock Doctor (not sure why they would give it this name, but what do I know). This power dryer actually blows ionized, ozonated air through different articles of clothing getting them not only dry, but also frees them of different bacteria (up to 99.9% to be more exact). The price point will be around $99 – $129 and may even be presented to sports teams as an alternative to burning the clothing of the sports teams when they get too smelly, or less than shining season (just kidding).

Garmets That Create Their Own Power – Dream In The Making
Having clothes that can actually create their own power may not be all that far off. Zhong Lin Wang, director of the Center for Nanostructure Characterization at the Georgia Institute of Technology, is working on making this idea a reality.
By creating nano-scale “forests” of zinc oxide wires that create power when compressed (each wire is around the length of a bacterium), Wang is on the verge of creating “the tiniest reusable power source ever,” he told reporters at the March 26th meeting of the American Chemical Society.
Hopefully, Wang will be able to get funding to continue his research. This could be a great breakthrough for several different industries. Imagine being able to go to the park with your iPod and cell phone, and not having to worry about carrying a charger, or the military being able to power their devices during combat. The benefits are almost limitless.

Fashion Geek Release Party Shows Off The Goods
Actually, these fashions take me back to the days of TRON, the futuristic movie about a man who gets sucked into a video game. There is even a guy on YouTube that dresses up in a TRON outfit. I’m not sure if he would be willing to wear some of these fashions, but he might be dating someone that does. Either case, they are interesting to say the least, and makes you wonder just where the world of fashion will take us in the future.
